important update Regarding COVID-19
As of June 2, 2020
The Session, our ruling body, met on Thursday May 28 and made the following updates to our response to Covid -19:
We will continue to worship online.
Anyone on the church premises must wear a face mask over the nose and under the chin.
There may be allowances for small groups to gather outside with session approval under the following conditions:
The meetings must be short enough that no one needs to enter the building, since that would require staff to be present for all meetings. We do not yet feel comfortable asking all of our staff to be at church gatherings.
Participants need to bring their own chairs
Participants may not ask other church members or staff to give them a ride to the event unless that member lives in your home.
Since eating and drinking requires the removal of the mask, we ask that meetings be without food or drink.
The Thrift Shop is taking donations, with a small number of volunteers sorting material indoors. They are being careful to stay far apart and properly wearing masks. Please do not enter the building for the Thrift Shop unless you are one of the Thrift Shop Volunteers. Donations may be left outside the building in the back.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this very difficult time and we look forward to worshipping in person with you all again.
