Who we are and

what we believe

We are a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Presbytery of Northeast New Jersey. We believe that our Creator God is the supreme authority in life as in death and that our knowledge of God and God’s purpose for humanity comes from the Bible, particularly what is revealed in the New Testament through the life of Jesus Christ, not through our own doings. But it is in response to God’s gift of forgiving grace that we commit ourselves to sharing the Good News with the world. We believe that God’s work in the world is ongoing through the Holy Spirit and we are called to be grateful ambassadors of God’s love, grace, mercy, and peace.

What to Expect

We welcome all to the church and invite you to join us for worship, study, and fellowship. You will find that some dress in their ‘Sunday Best’ for morning worship and others come casually attired. Feel free to dress as you feel most comfortable.

Our music director, Chae Anderson, is a very talented keyboardist and vocal choir director. He makes the organ ring, the piano sing, and the choir resound.
Our pastor generally preaches from either the Revised Common Lectionary or a biblical theme that is appropriate to the season. Either way, you’re sure to hear a message that will engage your mind and encourage your soul.

We have Sunday School for young children after the Children’s Message at worship during the school year. And we have seasonal special programming for all ages throughout the year.
A Coffee Hour is offered after worship each Sunday. It is a great way to make friends, meet neighbors, and enjoy a time of fellowship.
